Paris Clears War Criminal of All Charges

French court denied Serbia's motion for extradition of Kosovo's former PM Ramush Haradinaj. The infamous commander, who had 108 charges filed against him became known for his severe brutality during the Balkan War. Haradinaj didn't just give chilling orders, but personally killed, tortured, and raped Serbians, including civilians. Aleksandr Buzaladze is reporting on why Paris is dismissing charges against the war criminal. Ramush Haradinaj is looking confident when arriving to the court in Colmar, France. You don't have to be a psychic to know there won't be any extradition to Belgrade or a fair trial for mass murders of Albanians and Serbians. The procedure should be very simple and quick. But, unfortunately, it's been 4 months. Sure, this verdict allows me to go back to my duties, but I already lost 4 months. He is idolized in Kosovo and Albania for extreme brutality during the Balkan ethnic cleansing. Haradinaj earned indisputable authority as the most bloodthirsty commander in the field. He went through the International Legion and sabotage terrorist training. He formed the "Black Hawks" hit squad. He killed over 300 people and kidnapped 400. During NATO bombings he personally adjusted the air strikes with the help of sat-phones, provided by the Americans. Hundreds of Serbians were tortured, raped and killed under his command. Their remains were fished out of Radoinja Lake and from the Decani wells. They remember it very well in Serbia, but prefer to forget in Kosovo. We shouldn't let Serbia have its way until they turn away the Interpol list, which has our fighters for freedom. Haradinaj was seriously injured while attacking the Russian forces, KFOR. What's interesting is that he was evacuated from the combat zone by a special helicopter with the help of Italian pilots, accompanied by 2 CIA agents. Maybe it's the CIA connection that allows him to believe in his impunity Do you still believe? I always believe in my rights and the rights of my people. In 2005 he turned himself in to the Hague Military Court. It may have been a deal because he was found "not guilty" on all charges. Most of the witnesses to his case died under suspicious circumstances. Some were hit by a car, some had their throats cut in the street. According to the journalists, Haradinaj paid his lawyers 7,000,000€ in cash. In 2012 he was cleared again on the appeal case. Now it's France and they're letting him go again. They should be ashamed for their politically motivated actions that have nothing to do with law and justice. We reserve the right for counter-measures against those who make these decisions. It's not surprising that the Kosovo's military commander and former PM is being dismissed. Judging from the close contacts with the American special services, Haradinaj knows too much and might talk if they give him to Belgrade. And this is not in the plans for those who came up with and orchestrated the Balkan conflict.
